Details: Spend your Spring Break ministering to children! This team will spend an entire week in the amazing country of Uganda. This team will first fly into Entebbe, Uganda and travel to Kampala to spend a Sunday morning church service with Pastor Samuel of Return Ministries, followed by an opportunity to provide lunch for the wonderful children of Return. The following day they will be venturing out into the community to meet with the families of the children of Return and bless them with care packages. The team will then travel to beautiful Jinja where they will be staying at Canaan Children's Home ministering, leading and teaching VBS curriculum. Along with this the team will be worshipping with the children that live at the orphanage and the children and families in the surrounding communities. This trip will also include a wonderful day for sightseeing. During the teams time in Jinja they will also be heading into the streets to work with Pillars of Hope, a ministry that reaches out to street children. They will also be spending a day surrounded by little ones at the Amani Baby Cottage. Before heading home the team will have one last day to serve with Home Again Ministries by visiting the villages of the wonderful women and children of the Karamajong Tribe. This trip is going to be full of amazing children and ministries that Lord's hand is clearly on. We can't wait to see all that God has in store!
*Please note: most team members will need to fly to Washington, DC the day before the date listed above as the trip start date. This is in order to connect for the International flight in time as most flights leave in the morning or early afternoon and most connecting flights don’t make it in time. We will book all connections for you and if an overnight in DC is needed, we will make arrangements for the team for lodging. Thank you!
