Details: Spend an entire week loving precious children in Uganda! This team will spend an entire week in the amazing country of Uganda. This team will first fly into Entebbe, Uganda and travel to Kampala where they will spend two days with 60 Feet bringing hope to children in government facilities called “remand centers.” The team will then travel to beautiful Jinja, Uganda. During the teams time in Jinja they will be staying at Canaan Children's Home among the amazing children and staff of Canaan. From there the team will be heading to the streets to work with Pillars of Hope, a ministry that reaches out to street children. They will also have the opportunity to spend a day serving with Home Again Ministries by visiting the villages of the wonderful women and children of the Karamajong Tribe. Before heading home the team will head to Amazima Ministries where they will be assisting in the weekly feeding program along with joining the kids in a fun time of worship and Bible lessons. We trust that God is going to move in big ways on this trip. We pray the Lord would have you join us in serving Him through our time with these children!
Trip Payment Schedule:
$200 deposit due up front in order to hold spot
$2,000 due February 14th, 2012 (this plus your deposit is used to book your flights)
Your remaining balance due 3 weeks before departure
*Please note: most team members will need to fly to Washington, DC the day before the date listed above as the trip start date. This is in order to connect for the International flight in time as most flights leave in the morning or early afternoon and most connecting flights don’t make it in time. We will book all connections for you and if an overnight in DC is needed, we will make arrangements for the team for lodging. Thank you!
