Artists & Authors » Johnnyswim

Johnnyswim is a compelling amalgam of soul, folk, pop and blues rooted in the eclectic enclaves of Nashville, Los Angeles, and New York City. Like melody is to harmony, the voices of Abner Ramirez and Amanda Sudano Ramirez are uniquely symbiotic. They are the stylistic cousin to Lauryn Hill, John Legend, and Corinne Bailey Rae yet wholly original and distinct from any other artist or band.

In addition to touring, songwriting and recording, Johnnyswim remains highly involved in not for profit efforts around the globe and at home. All of which are aimed at bringing hope and inspiration to places that often don't get enough of it.

"India has been on my heart since the first time I visited. Just that one visit left an indelible impression; we would be more than grateful to serve! And its with that same heart that we LOVE to serve those that are truly fatherless. To remind them that they are not abandoned. They are loved and highly prized in the courts of The King!" - Abner Ramirez, Johnnyswim

Johnnyswim performed at the 1st and 2nd Annual Visiting Orphans Give 2 Go concerts in Nashville, TN.

They also wrote and recorded an amazing song called "Hallelujah" and are donating all of the profits from sales of this song to Visiting Orphans. Check out the video for Hallelujah featuring footage from their September 2011 India trip with Visiting Orphans. You can purchase this song on itunes.
